I remember the first time I had ever seen Michael.
My best friend, Nikki (MagGot), had suggested I see a movie called "The Wickeds".
Trusting her suggestion, I went to the video store and purchased the DVD.
What I saw of MagGot in this film was so engrained in me that when Nikki said I'd be meeting Michael (in August of '08), I thought I'd be terrified.
I kept worrying "Oh my god, I'm gonna be so scared of this guy...I'm gonna be so afraid."
And this was even after hearing Nikki speak highly of him (of course, I had by this point now also seen Mordum, and some MagGot shorts).
I genuinely felt that his presence would creep me out, but when he and Nikki showed up at my apartment to take me to a party at Benzy's house, I took one look at Michael and thought "Oh, thank god."

Hah...thanks! I think it's neat that cinema can blur that line of how people question those on screen... outside of the characters and such.

David Hess was haunted for years from his performance in Last House on the Left. People would run from him on the subways and such...heh...

That was a crazy night at Benzy's to boot!

thats funny and even though I've never met michael in person yet, I have a similar story. I had watched mordum and then I found the maggot site and i was gonna email him about ordering some movies but my old lady was so terrified of his character and things she had heard from other people in interviews and such that she didnt want me to contact him period. then after we became friends and I had talked to him more she was like oh hes so nice and polite a really cool guy , just goes to show what a good actor you are mikey. HA oh yeah remember how I was those first few phone calls hahahaha

magGot is a fuzzy bear! Sure, I haven't met him, but c'mon! :D
However, before starting talking to him I had no idea what kind of person I'd be getting to know. But turned out already after one e-mail that he was a good guy.

Oh don't worry, I wasn't in any way degrading it from the beginning. It's just that having Film Bizarro and such...has allowed you to really grow immensely in such a short time. Just as your filmmaking has.

My English graduated to another level communicating back and forth with my Canadian buddies (Ryan Ohlman and Lisa Hamilton)...whom I met at a convention (Fright Vision) in 2000. This is back when email was 'the' communication on the internet. We would write long winded emails back and forth, talking film/music... They're still involved too, tons of their music in the new films. Ryan's two bands Red Bastard Brewery and CURSES!! have both chunked out a healthy dose of tunes.... along with some original scoring to boot.

Looking forward to seeing them again in August. Cheers!

Haha, yes!
Never again will I jump into a pool with all my clothes on.
I still can't get over the look on Nikki's face the next morning when she saw me walk out of the bathroom wearing Fred Vogel's shirt.
I was like "What?! My clothes are still hanging up."

Hah...yah. Classic 80's moment captured in real time, diving in a pool with your clothes on. Looks better in the movies, then it is in real life...heheh...

Yes, that was one of the funniest faces Nikki ever made!...

I think this one was directed at me. :P

Yes, it is pretty bad that Ronny's better at English than I am especially since English is the only language I know.
